This course is designed to teach the importance of facilitation skills in leadership and team development. Participants will learn the fundamental skills needed to become a facilitative leader, such as active listening, emotional intelligence, powerful questioning, engaging in productive conflict, and being flexible in thinking.

 

The course will also cover the challenges that can arise during facilitation, including power dynamics and resistance to change, and provide strategies for pre-emptively addressing them. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their facilitation skills through case studies and group exercises, and receive feedback from the trainer and peers.

 

Upon completion of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of the role of facilitation in creating high-performing, autonomous teams. They will have the necessary tools to become a facilitative leader and address challenges that may arise during the facilitation process.
