- Difference between a „question“, „instruction“, and „role-based task“
- Demonstrations
Exercise: Participants create and test their own prompts and compare results
Session 2: Using ChatGPT in Daily Life and Work
- Practical use cases:
- Administration: letters, reports, meeting notes
- Education: lesson plans, quizzes, simplified explanation
- Marketing: product descriptions, posts
- Tools and features: formatting, tone, style, file/image interaction
Exercise: Participants solve a task related to their profession using ChatGPT
Session 3: The Art of Prompt Engineering
- What is prompt engineering and why it matters
- Prompt templates:
- “Act as…” (Role prompting)
- “Think step by step” (Chain of thought)
- “Format the answer as…”
- Controlling length, tone, structure
- Limitations and ethical workarounds
Exercise: Create a complex prompt, then improve it in pairs
Session 4: What ChatGPT Can and Can’t Do
- Strengths and limitations (accuracy, realism, bias)
- Ethics, privacy, copyright concerns
